Watch piano-driven performances as they groove and swing their way through an intoxicating mix of original hits and covers. Rock ‘n Roll classics and the occasional Rag time tune included! The overall effect is edgy, rough and relentlessly energetic. Compulsive feel good vibes and dancing for everyone who loves a good time.
The Boogie Woogie Troop features Matthew on piano and vocals, Jim Mortimore on bass and Sam Walker on drums.
The Troop was formed in early 2009 out of their collective love and enjoyment of the music and is a natural expression for Matthew’s blues and boogie piano playing styles. They perform regularly throughout the year and are regularly selling out their own shows.
