29,307 days after prohibition ended, restoring sanity and permitting the consumption of alcohol again, The Bootlegger family opened the doors to our first bar on Gloucester Road in Bristol. Since then, we have continued to celebrate this momentous occasion, and have continued our journey west to Womanby Street in Cardiff and south to Fore Street in Exeter, and Middle Street, just yards from the beautiful Brighton seafront.

Unlike the prohibition days where joy was killed and all good liquor was banned, we offer you a place to enjoy yourself, without the fear of incarceration or fine. We exist to be the best nightlife experience in every town and city that we operate in, providing our patented Prohibition blend of good stock, good company, and good times.

When it comes to cocktails, The Bootlegger has over 80 for you to enjoy, from good ol’ classics to swanky new creations. Our signature espresso martinis and sours are drinks of legend. Not sure what you fancy? Try one of our dashing CBD infused cocktails that are all the buzz right now. We’re one of only a few bars around the UK to sell them.

For our gin connoisseurs, we can’t wait to host you at one of our in-house dedicated gin bars where we have a unique collection of over 100 gins. The Bootlegger also stocks an equally delicious range of craft beers, ales, and ciders, including local favourites. All of these will go down smoothly, especially when supported by our exciting live music schedule from local chaps and chapettes, as well as DJs spinning more contemporary tunes.
